Miles Richard Rogers

The Madison County Record Huntsville, AR 24 Dec 1970 Miles R. Rogers, 76, Huntsville, Route 6, died Dec. 18 in Madison County Hospital. He was born June 6, 1894, in Japton, and was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Bernice Ayres Rogers, of the home; one daughter, Miss Doris Ann Rogers, also of the home; one brother, Scott, of Russellville; four sisters, Mrs. Theresa Spurlock, Mrs. Mandy Johnson, Mrs. Nola Harriman, all of Huntsville Route 6, and Mrs. Nettie Hogg of Fayetteville, Route 5. Funeral service was at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 21, at Japton Church of Christ, with Merritt Youngblood officiating. Burial was in Grose Cemetery under direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
