Obituary

It is with deep sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Earl Dale Phillips, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, a resident of West Fork, Arkansas, departed this life on May 28, 2026 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 70.

He was born January 25, 1956 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the son of Earl Lee and Zelda Junita (Perguson) Phillips.

Dale was a dedicated employee of the City of Fayetteville for 45yrs.

Dale was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose life was defined by faith, kindness, and a genuine love for people. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His generosity, compassion, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He found great joy in spending time outdoors and appreciated the simple blessings of life. He loved watching westerns, listening to gospel music, and sharing laughter with family and friends. His quick wit and playful spirit could brighten any room, and his jokes and stories will be remembered for years to come.

Above all, Dale loved Jesus and lived his faith through his actions every day. His unwavering belief, caring heart, and servant's spirit were evident in the way he treated others. He was a faithful example of love, humility, and devotion to his family and community.

He was a cherished husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, a devoted brother, and a loyal friend. The love he gave and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Though he will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in knowing that he is at peace in the presence of the Lord. His legacy of faith, love, laughter, and service to others will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Earl Lee Phillips, Grandparents, Opal May Phillips, Earney Lee Phillips, Christopher Austin Pergeson, and Mildred Mae Pergeson and brothers, Larry Lynn Phillips, and Roy Lee Phillips.

He is survived by his Wife Alexa Phillips of West Fork, Arkansas; two children, Katrina Brown and her husband Telly of The Colony, Texas; and Earney Dale Lee Phillips of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; his mother, Zelda Junita Pergeson; four siblings, Karon Jones (Clarence), Opal Lumpkin (Wayne), Melton Ray Phillips (Patti), and Leon Phillips (Leann); Two Grandchildren, Mason Brown, and Kira Wellegehausen and her husband Steven; One great grandchild, Aureleon Wellegehausen.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 2, 2026, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
