Audrey Lou Johnson, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born to Rex Marshall and Pattie Lou (Waters) Campbell on January 15, 1956, in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, Rex Marshall and Pattie Lou (Campbell) Robinson, one sister, Brenda Lee Campbell, and one niece Jody Galloway Butler.
Audrey is survived by one sister, Robin Galloway, two children, Wesley Hall and wife Sandi of Hallsville, Texas and Whitney Throop and husband Jason of Elkins, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Hannah Hall, Alyssa Hall, Haylli Johnson, Dylan Williamson, Alistair Throop, and Lena Throop. In addition, she is survived by a host of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
She is remembered in her community as a passionate entrepreneur, having been an avid seamstress of over 50 years, along with her skills as a baker and craftswoman. Though she now rests, parts of her life’s work remain with many today. Furthermore, Audrey developed a fondness for horses in her teenage years, a love that would ring true for the entirety of her time with us.
Above all else, Audrey loved her children. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, who passed on many lessons pertaining to the direction of a thoughtful life.
The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Burial will be at Prairie Grove cemetery in Prairie Grove, Arkansas – no graveside services will be held.
