Ester Lou Reed 79 a resident of Cane Hill, AR died September 18, 1991 at Fayetteville, AR . She was born May 6, 1912 at Gem Community, AR the daughter of Robert L. and Myrtle Shannon Collins. She was a member of the Clyde Community Church for over 60 years and had been a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was a member of the Cane Hill E.H. Club and was a retired employee of the Campbell Soup Co. She was a homemaker and a Farmer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Archie Reed in 1985; A brother, Shannon Collins and a sister, Cornia Patrick. Survivors include three sons, Archie Leonard and wife Irene Reed, William Howard and wife Ginger Reed and Johnny Lee Reed all of Clyde, AR; Two daughters, Joann and husband Hugh Mahaffey of Fayetteville, AR and Bonnie and husband Richard Haegele of Clyde, AR; A brother, Clifford Collins of Aztec. NM; A sister, Mrs. Evelyn Johnson of Hoquiam, WA; A sister in law Mrs. Rosa Reed of Lincoln.AR. Thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Friday , September 20, 1991 , 10:00 A.M. at the Clyde Community Church in Clyde, AR by Bro. Troy Repass and William L Bush (Eulogy) with burial in Cox Cemetery at Morrow, AR. Pallbearers will be (Grandsons) Allen Haegele, Doug Reed, Johnny M. Reed, Ken Mahaffey, Leon Reed, Mike Reed, and Rich Haegele.
