Carol Ann Pershall Barron

I was just thinking about Carol no more than 2 days ago.I even went on the internet to see where she lived.I found Fayetteville and her married name. I met her, I think it was 1st grade, and we hung around together until I was 16.I enjoyed spending the night with her.She was a joy to be with.She made me laugh all the time.I wish I could have found her again and talked about old times. She was a beautiful lady.

We are so sorry about Carol....She was always the sweetest person, so caring, so loving...Our love goes out to all of you. David, we are praying for you, know it is so hard. You had a jewel for a wife.

Words can't express the impact that Carol's quiet and gentle spirit had on our family. I have no childhood memories without her in my life- she has always been a part of us. She watched over my brother & I like a mother hen...She was a dear and helpful friend to my parents...Time, distance, a wonderful husband, and a busy life did dull her loyalty and friendship...she never forgot us. As a little girl, I remember thinking our family had adopted Carol- but looking back now, it seems clear that it was Carol who adopted us... In my memory Carol has always been a member of my family, and will always be loved and deeply missed....Her memory will be cherished.....Crystal Ann

To Carol's family, I prey to God to bring you comfort and understanding. I know it is hard to be without her but she is at rest now until we all are together again.

Thinking of our last conversation and shared memories of departure when we were kids. You recalled me in the back seat looking out the back window, and you running toward the road while we were driving away. Both of us blowing kisses and waving...Now you have gone on and I am here still blowing kisses..I will miss you. I know Carol left us all with special stories as she was truly a special lady. I will cherish mine.

Carol was a true friend. She lived in our home for about 10 years. She saw our children grow up and she was always there to help. She was like a big sister to Dustin and Crystal and they loved her for her cheerfullness, her kindness and the love she freely showered on them. I never saw her angry or heard an ill word directed toward anyone. She was true to her church and God and she was an excellent example of a true and faithful Christian. Circumstances and life have separated us now for many years but Carol touched my family in a wonderful way we will never forget. We all loved her and she will always be in our hearts.

Carol will always be a big part of us. I never got to meet her but the stories she is to tell me about Dustin was too funny. I will truely miss those telephone conversations. She was and will still be a big part of Dustin's life. We will miss you and always love you Carol.
