Obituary

Amy Louise Cooksey, 55, a resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born October 13, 1969 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the daughter of Sandra Lynn (Johnson) Carter.

She was preceded in death by her mother, one brother and her husband James Cooksey.

Survivors include her partner, Frankie Andrews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 17, 2025, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 18th, 2025, at White Rock Light of Faith Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery in Farmington, Arkansas.

She was very happy lady when her mom was in self living in Farmington I took care of her and Amy was always there helping and eating with her mom my dad used to ride horses with her a lot we were very sorry for your loss she will be missed

So terribly sorry to hear this. We’ve known Amy for a lot of years and never once had we ever run into her somewhere that she didn’t have a big smile to share. She came to work at the same company that I worked and she always had that same big smile. She helped me and I’m sure many others through some tough times just by talking, listening and being herself. She will definitely be missed in this world.
