James Mourning was born January 26, 1931, in Prairie Grove, AR, son of James C. and Winifred G. Daugherty Mourning.
Surviving are son, Martin (Marianne) Mourning; four grandchildren, Matthew, Blaine, Myles and Mollie Mourning and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mickey Bradley; two brothers and three sisters.
He was a veteran of the Army, serving with the 51st Calvary in the Korean War.
