Wendell Ray Coston, 85 passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born October 20, 1936 in Locust Bayou, Arkansas to Hamilton Mack and Virginia Roberts Coston. Ray was an FBI Agent for many years. He earned a PH.d from the University of Arkansas and enjoyed pulling practical jokes. He is preceded in death by his wife Gail Coston and two sisters, Jean Phillips and Gaye Sommer. Survivors include one son, Scott Coston of Springdale, one daughter, Cheryl Stange of Bentonville, one sister, Charlotte Smith of Fayetteville, six grandchildren, Thomas Coston, Dana Coston, Cody Coston, Jennifer Coston, Raistlin Clem and Ceara Clem and two great-granddaughters, Violet Coston and Gage Coston. Graveside services will be Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 11:30 am at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville.
