Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Clovis. Betty Ann Spilman, 73, of Clovis, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. She was born on Aug. 1, 1931, in Ranchvale, to Jewel A. and Lucille F. Buchanan Bell. She was a homemaker, a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and loved to knit. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John Bell; and a grandson, Michael Mauch. Survivors include four sons, George Spilman (and wife, Lori) of Laramie, Wyo., Jewel Spilman of Buffalo, Wyo., and Wilbur and Walter Spilman, both of Clovis; two daughters, Lucy Pearl Spilman of Cheyanne, Wyo., and Nancy Hoburg (Richard) of Cheyenne, Wyo.; a sister, Joyce Pengray of Colusa, Calif.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. John Collins will officiate the services. Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis. Pallbearers are George, Jewel, Wilbur and Walter Spilman, Garry Mauch, and Bob Patterson. Honorary pallbearer is Dudley Bailey. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
