Services Scheduled for Donald F. Rankin
Funeral services for Donald F. Rankin, 64, of 1610 Burns Ave., who died as a result of a heart attack he suffered while shoveling snow Friday, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Cochran Mortuary.
The Rev. Ralph Vanderwood, Pastor of Woodland Community Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Wichita Park Cemetery.
Born Oct. 11, 1890, in Oklahoma, Mr. Rankin came to Wichita from Kansas City, Mo., 20 years ago. He was a retired food salesman.
Mr. Rankin was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Kansas City, and Christian Science Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Donna Fay Seago of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Marsh, Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Beatrice Crane, Phoenix, Ariz.: two brothers, John, Arkansas City, Kan., and Duverne, San Francisco, Calif, and three grandchildren.
NOTE: Donald Rankin is buried in an unmarked grave in Wichita Park Cemetery.
