Educated at Ohio Female College, Kentucky College, Grand Conservatory of Music and Art League, New York City. Married to Jackson Harvey Ralston at Keokuk IA, June 1, 1887, adopted son Jackson Frederick Ralston [a younger cousin of Jackson Harvey]. Interested in church missionary, peace, and other philanthropic societies. Member, Board of Associated Charities, was officer of Gentlewoman's League D.C., resident since 1887, Presbyterian.
