Maxine Edith Lafferty

My mother died from a brain tumor. She had complained of headaches for a long time and had gone to the doctor regularly for them. When she and my dad went to a different doctor, they found the brain tumor, but it proved to be too late. She died during surgery. My dad had promised her that she would come home from the hospital, so after her death the coffin was placed in our living room. I have no memory of her, since I was only two, but have been told that I pulled a box over to the coffin and then asked everyone, "Why is my Mommy in that box".
