Alma Rankin Holmes, age 90, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012. She was born October 27, 1921 in Perry County, Arkansas to the late Milton Rankin and Paralee Ray Rankin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Morris Holmes; three brothers, Charlie, U Dee and Eldon Rankin and two sisters, Mary C. McCracken and Addie Stone. She was a homemaker and had been a member of Rosedale Baptist Church. Alma is survived by her three sons, Lee Holmes and wife, Lisa of Fort Worth, TX, Jerry Holmes and wife, Sandy of Searcy, AR and Danny Holmes of Little Rock; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 10201 Hwy. 5 North, on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home
