Madison County Record, March 2, 1933 SARAH HAYES PARKS Mrs. Sarah Parks age 86 years died at 5 o'clock a.m. today at her home two miles south of Huntsville. She had been in failing health several months but her acute illness was of only a few days duration. Funeral service to be conducted by Rev. Jake Drake will be held at the Huntsville Cemetery tomorrow at 10:30 o'clock a.m. Mrs. Parks was a native of Tennessee but came to Arkansas during childhood with her father, John Hayes, the family locating on the farm, known for more than 75 years as the Hayes place, just south of Huntsville. She was married in the early sixties to Marion Parks who died several years ago. She is survived by three daughters, Miss Matilda Parks and Mrs. J. A. Fifer of Huntsville and Mrs. Leona Keeling of Clifty, also by two brothers and one sister, John Hayes and James Hays of OK, and Mrs. T. G. Long of Fayetteville.
