He was born Nov. 4, 1909 at Bohannan Mt., the son of Jim and Stella Evans. He moved to his daughter's home in Molalla in 1972. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Sue Ladd of Molalla, Ore.; one brother, Vernon Evans of Huntsville; three sisters, Lorene Harris and Thelma Pharris, both of Huntsville, and Pansy Evans of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Tim Clark of Silverton, Ore., and Vicki Mathis of Corvallis, Ore.; and five great grandchildren. Graveside services were March 22 at Adams Cemetery near Molalla, Ore. Arrangements were by Everhart and Kent Funeral Home of Molalla.
