Raymond Henry carter was born on 5/25/1911 in Westville, OK. He graduated from Westville High in 1929. He married Julia Laverne Shearrer on 8/25/1934. They had 2 sons; Harold and Bill. In 1941 he received a diploma in Airplane Wing construction and worked at hatbox feild in Muskogee. OK. In the 1950's he worked for the Ford Motor Company. He could not settle on a career that suit him. In 1964 he opened Lakeland Glass & Mirror Company at 740 Calahan in Muskogee, OK. The glass shop was successful and a local hang out for the men in Muskogee. The shop was conveniently located 2 doors down from their house. Raymond loved to Whittle, garden and play golf. Raymond died of a hear attack on 11/14/1983 in Muskogee, OK.
