Abner Ellsberry Jr. Casey

He was married to Priscilla 'Jane' Whiteley ca. 1847. Jane, sometimes called 'Phoebe' Jane, was born in Arkansas, and died in the Buffalo River area of Newton County. Like his brother-in-law, Braxton Edgmon, he was ambushed and killed by bushwackers during the Civil War. His date of death is currently subject to debate, and may have even occured in late 1862.
