Roy Lee Sparks 73, of Rudy passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 in a local hospital. He was a retired truck driver for Affiliated Foods. He formerly lived in Uniontown. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Myrtle (Unger) Sparks. Graveside service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday August 1, 2017 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Ruby of the home; two daughters, Luci Nicely of Cedarville and Johnna Gregory of Rudy; six grandchildren, Thomas, Stephanie, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Ruby and Rose; four great-grandchildren, Ruby, Roy, Izzie and Elvis; three sisters, Reva Neal and Stella Crittenden of Fort Smith and Charlotte Bond of Natural Dam; three brothers, Jeff Sparks of Elkins, Arkansas, Jim Sparks of Natural Dam and Tom Sparks of Lincoln, Arkansas.
