Otis "Buster" Wood, age 93, of Winslow, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013. He was born May 25, 1920 in Bidville, AR to parents John F. Wood and Pearl Parker Wood. He is preceded in death by his parents, and son, Freeman Wood. He was a retired carpenter and was employed in the maintenance department of Winslow Public Schools. He was a member of Winslow Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dixie Lea Wood: three sons, J.R. Wood and wife Stormy, Wesley Wood and wife Lenita, Freddie Wood and wife Helen, all of Winslow: a daughter Chris Center and husband Ron, of Wichita, KS: four brothers; one sister; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 1, 2013, at the Winslow Assembly of God Church with burial at Brentwood Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Perry Hall and Brother Roy Biswell.
