Campbell, Clementine Dye Mrs. W. J. Campbell Funeral service for Mrs. W. J. Campbell, 54, who died at her home here Friday afternoon, was held at the Rutherford Cemetery Saturday morning with the Rev. E. E. Stevenson officiating, assisted by the Rev. T. P. Harrison of Fayetteville. Arrangements were in charge of J. L. King. Pallbearers were: Porter Pittman, Elwood Harris, Harris Abercrombie, J. O. Bain, Roy Fidler and Ed Rich. The flowers , were in charge of Miss Irene Abercrombie and Mrs. Layton McCoy. Mrs. Clementine Dye Campbell, daughter of Amelia Hannah and Calvin Dye, was born at West Fork, June 22, 1878, and spent most of her life in Prairie Grove and adjoining communities. She was married to W. J. Campbell in 1901. To this union was born four children, three of whom survive. She was a devoted mother, giving her home and family first place in her life, a kind neighbor and true friend. Surviving are: her husband; . one daughter, Madge; two sons, William and Earnest; two brothers, M. H. Dye of Los Angeles, California, and E. B. Dye of West Fork: one sister, Mrs. J. L. Jones of Prairie Grove, and a host of relatives and friends. Out-of-town people here for the funeral included M. H. Dye of Los Angeles, Mrs. W. E. Horn, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Cole, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cole and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Whitsitt and family of Fayetteville.
