SPEARS, Samuel C. – Mrs. Mary E. Spears, widow of Samuel C. Spears, who died May 29, 1914, filed Widow Application #23618 with the Confederate Pension Board of Washington County for a Confederate widow pension and it was received as allowed August 21, 1915 at the State, citing her husband’s service with Company F, 11thTennessee from 1863 thru 1865.
