VAUGHAN, Joseph - {from The Prairie Grove Herald] Joseph Vaughan
died at his home at Farmington on Monday, March 21st, after an illness of
one week with pneumonia, aged 81 years. He had been a very active man
for his age, looking after his farm work until the last year of his life. He is
survived by his wife, who before marriage was Miss Belle Shirell, a sister
of C.R. Shirell of Prairie Grove. [The Springdale News 4/8/1910]
