Henry Parker Ross

ROSS, H.P. - Died at his home in Washington county, Arkansas on the evening of the 7th inst., Mr. H.P. Ross. His disease was paralysis of nearly six years standing, during which time he bore his afflictions with Christian fortitude until released by the hand of the Almighty. In his death the Church {M.E.S.) has lost one of her purest and best members; his wife a devoted husband and his children an affectionate father. Mr. Ross was born in Wilson county, Tenn. and died in the 69th year of his age. During the 30 years of his life spent in this country he won the esteem and friendship of all who knew him.
