Birth: Oct. 9, 1931 Winslow Washington County Arkansas, USA Death: Jan. 17, 2014 Springdale Washington County Arkansas, USA Bobbie Mills, age 82 of Bentonville, Arkansas formerly of Payneway, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 in Springdale. He was born October 9, 1931 in Winslow, Arkansas to Clifford and Cora Devore Mills. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He retired from the FAA after a long career. He is survived by two daughters, Olivia Long and her husband Mark of Bentonville, Arkansas; Belinda Gresham of Olive Branch, Mississippi; his son, Ken Mills of Centerton, Arkansas; one brother, Ray Mills of Fayetteville, Arkansas; step brother, Bob Adams of Winslow, Arkansas; step sister, Virginia Shackelford of Fayetteville; one granddaughter, Casiday Long; two step grandchildren, Troy Gresham and his wife Chelsey, Madison NoRunner and five step great grandchildren. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. He was raised in a large loving family in the Ozark Mountains that instilled hard work, fairness and tolerance in his life. He married a wonderful woman from the "flat lands" of Arkansas and made his home and raised his family there. He put God and family first in everything he did and thrived on helping others. He was loved by everyone he met and will be terribly missed by all. Visitation will be 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm Sunday January 19, 2014 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday at Center Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville, Arkansas under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday January 21, 2014 at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
