Research Notes

Notes for SARAH ELIZABETH GOLDMAN: l Elizabeth was very beautiful and loved her children. She tried to be a good wife. Her husband was abusive and beat her to death for not setting a fence post correctly. She was pregnant at the time and the child she was carrying died as well. The mother-in-law wanted the baby placed at the foot of the coffin, but the Goldman's insisted that the child be placed in her arm's. All of her surviving children died young. Cuzick soon remarried.
