Peggy Sue Taylor Sherer Baker, age 66, of West Fork, died Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Fayetteville. She was born December 29, 1949 in Phoenix, Ariz., the daughter of Albert Don and Lucille Olive Campbell Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor G. Baker in 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of Greenland Freewill Baptist Church, where she served in the card ministry. She always enjoyed being involved with her boys and later her grandchildren's school activities. She never met a stranger and enjoyed giving and helping others. She is survived by two sons, Stephen Sherer and his wife Beth of Winslow and Dan Baker and his wife Kenlea of West Fork; five grandchildren, Emily, Natalie and Benjamin Sherer and Ory Victor and Addyson Baker; a sister, Donna Douglas of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters-in-law, Connie Freriks of Stinnett, Texas and Yvonne Hutchison of Farmington; a brother and sisters-in-law, Bud Baker, Buford and Margaret Baker and Randy and Joyce Baker of West Fork, her cousin Randy Campbell of Farmington, who was like a brother and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Visitation will be 5–7 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2016 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, at West Fork First Baptist Church followed by burial at Baptist Ford Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
