THE EDMISTON’S OF WASHINGTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS BY ALLAN S. HUMPHREYS (40) CLEM GRAY EDMISTON, (John Sanford,5 etc.), was born 11 July l887; m. 4 Nov. 1914 to James Henry Pyeatt, (son of Henry Clay and Eliza (Inks) Pyeatt), born 7 Nov. l877. She was educated at Cumberland University, Lebanon, Tenn. She is active in church work and is a charter member of her Home Demonstrations Club which was organized in 1924. In 1938 She was cited an Outstanding Rural Club woman. He was educated in the U. of Arkansas. For eleven years he was cashier for the Bank of Cane Hill, For fifteen years he was manager of Cane Hill Canning Co. Now “retired", he operates the family’s homestead.
