WEST FORK -- Tommy Davis, 70, of West Fork died March 18, 2009, at his home. He was born May 14, 1938, in Winslow to Alvin and Ada Hardin Davis. He was a feed mill operator, a truck driver and a bluegrass musician. He served in the National Guard. Survivors include his wife, Emily Sargent Davis; two sons, Thomas Davis and Kendall Davis, both of West Fork; a daughter, Tina Wells of West Fork; two brothers, Cleveland Davis and Ray Davis, both of West Fork; a sister, Ada Mae Davis of West Fork; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, online at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com. L.V. Vickery and Jack Tedford will officiate. Burial will be in West Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
