MULLICE, Jacob - But one case of importance has been tried in the Probate Court during the week. That was a jury trial in the case of Jacob Yoes, administrator de bonis non of Jacob Mullice, deceased, against David Moore and Frederick M. Kidd, as administrators of T.K. Kidd, deceased. The amount involved was about two thousand dollars. The jury, without leaving the box, returned a verdict for the defendants. The plaintiff was represented by Messrs. Huckleberry, Robinson and Gaines, originally Judges Ham, Story and Gregg were for plaintiff. Defendants counsel were Messrs. J.D. Walker, Reagan and Pettigrew. [Fayetteville Democrat 7/31/69]
