Bobby Joe Acord 74 a resident of Farmington, passed away July 31, 2014 at Willard Walker Hospice in Fayetteville. He was born July 30, 1940 at Spoke Plant, Arkansas, the son of John and Elzada Griffith Acord. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington, Arkansas. He was retired from Elkhart Products in Fayetteville. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Shirley Acord; one daughter and son-in-law Anita and Steve Boyd of Fayetteville; one son Anthony Acord of Farmington; two grandchildren Brock Boyd and wife Emily of Farmington, and Amber Daniels and husband Matt of Lincoln; three great grandchildren Kasey, Lexi and Lilee Daniels; one sister Johnnie Yarbrough and husband Olen of Clarksville, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 4, 2014 - 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Farmington with Barry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Brad Pearson, Stephen Weir, David Yarbrough, Garry Yarbrough, Jamie Gregory, Eric Gregory, Brock Boyd, Aaron Yarbrough, Richard Yarbrough, Mark Yates, Matt Yates, and Geoff Gregory.
