January 1, 1943 PADEN Mrs. Stella May LEWIS PADEN, 79 years old, wife of Dan PADEN of this city, died at her home here Christmas morning after a few weeks' illness. Funeral service was conducted Saturday afternoon at the Roberts Funeral Chapel, with Rev. C.E. HARDY, retired Baptist minister, in charge, assisted by Rev. E.H. WININGER, retired Methodist minister. Burial was in the city cemetery with the Roberts Funeral Home directing arrangements. Mrs. PARDEN was born at Evansville, Ark. She was married to Mr. PADEN January 22, 1896, and had been a member of the Methodist church for the last 61 years. Survivors include the husband; two sons, Byron and Clay PADEN; one brother, Al LEWIS of Evansville; and one sister, Mrs. Maggie CHANEY of Salt Fork, Okla.
