[Fayetteville Democrat 8/2/1906] “Slewman” White is on the Confederate Pension list to receive $70 from the Washington County Clerk’s office. [Fayetteville Democrat 9/22/1910] Slowman White filed Veteran Application #14095 with the Confederate Pension Board of Washington County for a Confederate pension and it was received as allowed August 10, 1906 at the State, citing service with Company H, 4thArkansas Infantry in 1861 and 1862.
