Research Notes

Max Leon Kammerer Sr., 83, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born April 12, 1934 in Goodrich, Michigan, the son of Albert and Anna (Green) Kammerer. Max served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death his parents, his wife Viola Kammerer, one daughter Joyce Ann Kammerer, four brothers, Bill, Chuck, Ray, and Paul Kammerer, and one sister Maxine Jewett. Survivors include two sons, Max Kammerer Jr. of Seaside, California, and David Kammerer of Mulberry, Arkansas; one daughter Anna Disterhaupt of Lincoln, Arkansas; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 4, 2018, 6:00-8:00 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, April 5th, 2018, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, there will be no graveside services held.
