COLLIER, W.G. - {from The Fayetteville Daily, Monday) W.G. Collier
of Prairie Grove died Sunday evening in Thornton Miner Hospital at Kansas
City. Mr. Collier has been affected with stomach trouble for some time
and was gradually growing worse, and as a last resort left for Kansas City
last Tuesday evening to have an operation performed. The operation was
performed Friday night and he died Sunday evening at seven. His brother,
Me1 Collier, of Prairie Grove, went up Thursday to be present at the time of
the operation and will return with the body to-morrow morning when the
remains will be taken t o his old home at Prairie Grove where funeral services
will be held to-morrow afternoon. {Mr. Collier was a brother of Mrs.
J.P. Bennet of this place and she and Mr. Bennet went down to attend the
