Janice Friend, age 67, of Prairie Grove, died Monday, August 15, 2016 in Prairie Grove. She was born November 2, 1948 in Modesto, California, the daughter of Lawson Thomas and Charlotte Christine Flowers Kidd. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Andrea Tate; a brother, Larry Kidd and a nephew, Tarren Dean. She was a home health care worker. Janice is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Draper and her husband Jeff of Prairie Grove and Christina Hodge of Moline, Illinois; a son, Keith Howell and his wife Christina of Tomball, Texas; seven grandchildren, Christophor Ryan, Brittnye Reed, Shea Mayes, Justin Hodge, Charlotte Bonarrigo, Sarah Dean and Sadie Elaine and three great-grandchildren, Apache, Kaitlyn and Cinny. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2016 at Prairie Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
