Henry “Hank” Arthur McCleland age 66, died October 16th, 2010, in Fayetteville. He was born November 15th, 1943, in Clovis, California, the eldest son of Oscar and Winnie McCleland. Early in life, Hank found his niche in the construction industry. He was a drywall contractor by trade and homebuilder in his spare time. He refurbished, designed and built many custom homes throughout his lifetime for his family to live in. Deer hunting was a favorite pastime and Hank preferred the serenity his Horton Crossbow allowed him, versus rifle hunting. Gardening was also a passion. He was a master gardener, producing a surplus of vegetables he shared with family and friends. Recently, he acquired the knowledge of home canning and had just finished a batch of apple butter. Hank was a loving husband for forty-eight years. He loved his children and grandchildren and took pride in their accomplishments. He is survived by his wife, Linda McCleland, of Prairie Grove, three daughters, Bobbi Boller and Jamie Porter of Farmington, Sandy Silva of Elkins, and four grandchildren, He is also survived by his father, Oscar Dale McCleland, 3 brothers and 6 sisters. Memorial services will be held at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove at 6:00 pm, Thursday, October 21st.
