Phyllis Louise Ferguson Age 92, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at her home. She was born November 20, 1928 in Washington County, the daughter of John W. and Elizabeth (Shumate) Gaines. Phyllis was a life long resident of the Bethel Grove Community. She was a Baptist. She graduated from Prairie Grove High School in the class of 1945 and retired as a book keeper for Williams Tractor in Fayetteville and a retired cattle farmer. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James O. Ferguson. Survivors include her two daughters Valerie Skelton and Vickie Ferguson both of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two grandchildren David Skelton and his wife Whitley and Robin Skelton. Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Monday, January 18th, 2021, at Prairie Grove Cemetery Pavilion in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
