Goldie Bell Hopper 95, of Fayetteville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 20, 2009, in Fayetteville. She was born July 10, 1914, in the Mount Olive community, the daughter of Robert M. and Chloe Counts Bell. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Alabama City, Ala., and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Sue Hopper, granddaughters Sheila Pergeson, Sabrina Hopper and husband, Rick, and great grandson, Orey Scott Hopper. She is survived by her children, Dian Holmes and husband Dudley of Fayetteville, Priscilla Pergeson and husband Robert of Prairie Grove and Dan Hopper and wife Joyce of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Glen Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery.
