Robert Lee Wilhite
87, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his home. He was born June 11, 1932 in Odell, Arkansas, the son of Jess and Bessie Pearl (Dobbs) Wilhite.
Robert served in the United States Army. He retired from Gates Corporation in Siloam Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Orvel Wilhite, Ivan Wilhite, Hubert Wilhite and Jack Wilhite; four sisters Dovie Loftin, Cricket Cuzick, Bernice Corley and Oleta Taylor.
Survivors include his wife Ina Jo Rose Wilhite; two sons Ed Wilhite and his wife Vivian of LaFayette, Indiana and Darren Wilhite and his wife Cara of Shawnee, Kansas; five daughters Dianna Russell and her husband Bobby, Sandy Norton and her husband Jay, Judy Braly and her husband Paul all of Lincoln, Arkansas, Brenda McReynolds and her husband Ronald of Farmington, Arkansas and Melissa Remington and her husband Rick of Lincoln, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren: Monica, Tiffany, Tony, Jason, Julie, Nikki, Desi, Ariel, Mallory, Rhiannon, Allison, Sarah, River, Baden, Renee and Shaun; twenty great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 9, 2019, 6:00-7:00 PM at Luginbuel Chapel.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 10th, 2019, at Summers Missionary Baptist Church in Summers, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Bethesda Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held.
