Doyle Edgar Washington 89, of Summers, Arkansas died Sunday August 15, 2010 at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Doyle was born December 5, 1920, at Park Hill, Oklahoma, to Albert Washington and Edith Willy Washington. He lived in the area since 1941. Doyle was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cincinnati, Arkansas. He married Sara Rose Wilcox in 1950. Doyle loved to farm, bale hay, and care for his cattle, but his favorite hobby was spending time with his family. Doyle is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ray Washington and a sister Geraldine Collins, half sister, Faye Alberty, and half brother, Russell Washington. Survivors include his wife Sara of the home, one son Bob Washington and his wife Mary of Cincinnati, Arkansas, a daughter Joy Sexton and her husband Ed of Yuma, Arizona, 5 grandchildren, Robbie, Marla, Mindy, Tristan, and Claire; and 10 great grandchildren, Zane, Cody, Wyatt, Sara, Teira, Colton, Mattie, Cassie, Jake and Jesse; a brother Charles Washington and wife Willene of Summers, Arkansas; and sister-in-law Jannette Washington of Farmington, Arkansas. Funeral Service were August 21, 2010, in the Wasson Memorial Chapel of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Interment in the Old Union Cemetery.
