Sam C. Spears

Sam C. Spears 77, a resident of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away May 11, 2009 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born October 28, 1931 in Mountain View Community, Arkansas the son of Henry C. and Iris Ingram Spears. Sam was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church, he served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Spears; one sister, Emma Mary Spears; Survivors include one son, Dennis W. Spears and his wife, Jodi, of Walden, Colorado; one daughter, Debra Kilpatrick and her husband, Joe, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one brother, Clark J. Spears of Farmington, Arkansas; four grandchildren; Visitation will be held Wednesday evening with the family receiving friends from 5:30-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 14, 2009 - 2:00 P.M. at the Farmington Baptist Church in Farmington, Arkansas with Preston Beeks officiating. Interment will be in the Farmington Cemetery.
