Fern Waite 89 a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away November 17, 2010 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born March 13, 1921 in Kansas, the daughter of Robert Ashby and Laura Belle Jackson Cochran She was preceded in death by her husbands, FM Mandeville, Marshall P. Miller and Robert Waite; two brothers, Eugene Cochran and George Cochran; four sisters, Florence Hartwine, Ruth Napier, Edith Remington and Nova Grant. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Charles Brittain of Midwest City, Oklahoma; one sister, Wilma Delores Cochran of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two grandsons, Jeff Brittain and his wife, Angie, of Memphis, Tennessee and Steven Brittain of Overland Park, Kansas; three great granddaughters, Abby Brittain, Amelia Brittain and Meredith Brittain; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010 - 1:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery in Lincoln, Arkansas, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
