Elva Pennington Secrist was born on March 21, 1926 in Aurora, Arkansas to Dellie and Charley Pennington. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and dedicated friend to all who knew her. Elva enjoyed working in her garden and loved flowers. On December 31, 2016 Elva passed away at her home in Broken Arrow surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents: Charley and Dellie Pennington, brothers: Charles, Olen, Hubert and Mack, sisters: Erline Bartholomew, Juanita Branon, Esther Edens and Dorothy Keck. Elva leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband Paul Secrist, children: Christine Bailey and Curtis (Linda) Secrist of Broken Arrow, brother: Leon Pennington of Catoosa, grandchildren: Angie Battles of Collinsville, J.P. (Lauren) Bailey of Justin, Texas, Amanda Bailey of Broken Arrow, Katie Secrist of El Reno and Brittany Kizer of Mounds, 8 great-grandchildren and many other friends and family.
