Jesse B. (Jay) Trentham
73, of Evansville died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, in a local hospital. He was a cattleman, farmer and self-employed carpenter. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam from 1958 to 1962. He was preceded in death by one son, Steve Trentham, who passed away in 1982.
Funeral will be Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Ocker Funeral Home with burial at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Trentham of the home; two sons, Clint Trentham and wife Lori of Van Buren and Tim Trentham and wife Dee of Evansville; one sister, Jean Blake of Van Buren; and four grandchildren, Brooke and Halea Trentham of Evansville and Makayla and Alexis Trentham of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Ronny Trentham, David Trentham, Mike Murphy, Joe T. Alexander, John Ex and Jim Price.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ocker Funeral Home at 700 Jefferson St. in Van Buren.
