PARKS, Parmelia C. - (from The Prairie Grove Herald] Mrs. Parmelia C. Parks, widow of the late Wm. B. Parks, died Saturday night at her home at Big Springs, about eight miles south of Prairie Grove. She was about 62 years of age and had been sick several weeks with typhoid fever. She leaves three children, Mrs. Inez Carlisle of West Fork, Miss Myrtle Parks and Clifford Parks who lived with their mother. The funeral services were held Monday morning at 11 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Spears, a minister of the Christian Church of which the deceased was a member and the interment made in the Parks graveyard. [The Springdale News 11/9/1906]
