JOHN WALTER THURMAN Prairie Grove - Aug. 5 - John Walter Thurman, 74, died Tuesday at his Viney Grove home. He is survived by his wife; his mothre, Mrs. C.F. Thurman of Viney Grove; two daughters, Geneva of the home and Mrs. Lota Burke of Long Beach, Calif. and one brother, Andrew Thurman of Tulsa, Okla. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at Viney Grove by the Rev. Ivan Wilson and the Rev. Elmer Hook. Burial will be at Wedington. The Luginbuel Funeral Home is in charge.
