GARRETT, James W. – Malissa Garrett, widow of J.W. Garrett, who died August 21, 1892, filed Widow Application #13209 with the Confederate Pension Board of Washington County for a Confederate widow pension and it was received as allowed August 7, 1909 at the State, citing her husband’s service with Company A, Arkansas troops from 1863 thru 1865.Mrs. Garrett died December 27, 1932.
