Research Notes

Laban Temple must have married in South Carolina and there are no records of his marriage like so many more of those who did. Mary, listed in the 1850 census may have been his wife. Laben probably moved from Marlboro County, SC to Alabama after 1830. The Temple children living with Dr. Louis A. Roaul in the 1850 census would within reason be his children.
