Wilma Dean Whiteley 84, went home to be with the Lord October 1, 2009 at her home in Rogers, AR. She was born February 5, 1925 in Hepler, Kansas the daughter of Leslie and Anna Gregory. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Rogers and the wife of John F. Whiteley, who was a Pastor in the NW Arkansas area for 36 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Whiteley and one son, Gary Whiteley. Survivors include Gary's wife, Jerry Ann Whiteley of Springdale, one son Grady Whiteley and his wife Teresa, of Wesley, AR, two daughters, Deanna Walker of Rogers, and Melesa Daugherty and husband David of Rogers, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 am Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Dutch Mills Cemetery near Lincoln, AR. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 pm today October 2 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice or First Baptist Church of Rogers.
