REEDER. dwg 36, Illinois twp, Washington Co. ================ The Bosque Citizen, July ??, 1887 Bosque County Newspaper Clipping DIED At the advanced age of eighty-six years, at the home of Mr. John Odle, near Valley Mills, GRANDMA READER. She had been a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church for many years, and lived in strict accordance with that faith. She was on her way to church, Sunday, June 19th, when she, with the chair in which she was sitting, fell from the hack. One of her ribs was broken and this with other injuries which she received caused her death, June 23rd, 1887. She was buried at the family burying ground[Poston/Odle]. Parson Castleman preached the funeral discourse. Her relatives, of whom she had a vast number, have the sympathy of many friends-who deeply mourn the loss of this faithful christian mother.
